Our school crest was designed by ´Na Aksa Gila Kyew Learning Centre students in the fall of 2007. It represents the journey from the very first class to graduation. Translated, ´Na Aksa Gila Kyew means, "Where the robin goes to drink." The components of the crest:

Kitsumkalum Village is about five kilometres west of downtown Terrace, and about one kilometre west of Terrace city limits. Drive west from Terrace until you cross the Kitsumkalum River. On the left you will see the Kitsumkalum RV Park and Boat Launch. On your right you will pass the Tempo Gas Bar then the Kitsumkalum Community Centre, which also houses the House of Sim-oi-Ghets, a general store and First Nations crafts gift shop. Turn right off the highway and drive past the Kitsumkalum Band Office. On your left, you will see the Public Works quonset hut.
