Typists who use two fingers (also referred to as ‘hunt and peck’ typists) average about 37 WPM for memorized text, while the average WPM for copying text is about 27 WPM.

All computers in the school have Mavis Beacon Typing Tutor installed. This software is available to all students who want to improve their employability. Drop into the computer lab during the lunch break or after classes until 5 p.m.
