A number of our students contributed their personal insights and experience to the content of Skeena Stories: Strangers No More. In fact, they are now published authors.

The book is a compilation of local stories from past and present residents of Terrace perpared by Skeena Diversity Society in 2008 as their contribution to the year-long commemoration of the 150th anniversayr of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.

The stories in this book are are as diverse as the people who live or have lived in the Skeena Valley and you can experience there hardships, perseverance, creativity, humanity . . . In short, their incredible journey in a place we call home.

The book is available at the House of Sim-oi-Ghets. For more information about this or any other Skeena Diversity Society project visit skeenadiversity.com
